Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PAWNEST ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit or buy from our store. We process your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect

  • Order data: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number (optional), products ordered and payment status.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and how you interact with the store, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Messages: anything you send us through the contact or withdrawal form or by email.

Why we use your data

  • To process, ship and deliver your order and send you order and shipping updates (contract).
  • To handle returns, withdrawals, complaints and customer service questions (contract / legal obligation).
  • To keep our store secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
  • To improve our store and, only with your consent, to show you relevant offers (consent).
  • To comply with tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share data with

We only share data where needed: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment providers, shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, and – with your consent – analytics and advertising partners. Some of these partners may process data outside the EU; in that case appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses are used. We never sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to make the store work (for example your cart). Analytics and marketing cookies are only used with your consent, which you can change at any time via the cookie banner.

How long we keep data

We keep order data as long as required by tax and accounting law (usually 7 years). Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email our contact form. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
